About Arash

I have started my video game career in 2005 as a video game journalist. After about ten years of journalism, I leaned over game development as a game designer and QA engineer. In 2020 I decided to study video game development academically, so I joined TH-Koln in Game Development and Research master program.

Games I HaveĀ Worked on

  • Desert Strike Remake: Team Lead and Game Designer

In a small team of five, we tried to remake the legendary Desert Strike 1991 in 40 days in our extra time.
I was the team lead, game and level designer, UI/UX designer, and all 2D assets were created by me. The game is playable right now, but the co-op feature doesn’t work because there is no server anymore.
